Elflein puts a long truck with up to 24 tonnes payload into operation:

Based on a suggestion by our customer Daimlers, we initiated the project “Racing Frankenwald”. The development and engineering of the long truck took nearly 1,5 years.

At last we are able to use our new innovation: The first long truck with a payload of 24 tonnes is travelling daily between Schmölln and Sindelfingen.

This long truck enjoys the common benefits of this type of vehicle:

• Volume vehicle with 150 square meters loading area
• Larger loading area of 19.90 m
• Considerable CO_² reduction

With the use of this innovative long truck Elflein can once more increase its sustainability balance and achieve a saving of 3000 t CO_².
