Elflein is a pioneer in sustainable drive technologies and consistently uses BIO-LNG, HVO and e-trucks. 25% of the fleet has already been modernized to ensure low-emission and sustainable mobility.
E-TRUCK
For ELFLEIN, electric trucks are the most important equipment of the future. We are already using low-liner electric trucks and are continuously expanding our fleet of electric vehicles—to ensure sustainable mobility for tomorrow.
HVO
ELFLEIN uses HVO fuel at its own and third-party filling stations to sustainably reduce CO₂ emissions. Without any technical adjustments, HVO impresses with its high compatibility with existing diesel engines.
BIO LNG
Since 2024, ELFLEIN has been consistently committed to using BIO-LNG as a sustainable fuel. Already, one-fifth of the fleet runs on it, marking an important step toward reducing emissions and protecting our environment.

Height-optimized special vehicle
ELFLEIN uses special vehicles that are developed individually according to customer requirements. With optimal transport concepts and equipment, trips are reduced and the CO₂ balance is sustainably improved. Trailer height: 3.5 m
Paper trailer/sliding floor trailer
ELFLEIN uses sliding floor trailers — also known as walking floor trailers — specifically in the paper industry. For efficient and gentle transportation of sensitive products such as waste paper bales, pulp or paper rolls — especially when loading and unloading at locations without a tipping device.
Long combination vehicle
Elflein relies on modern and efficient transport solutions and has all Long truck types from type 1 to type 4 in the vehicle fleet. Thanks to their extended load units, these vehicles enable higher transport capacity, reduce emissions and help reduce traffic congestion. Elflein uses them specifically for sustainable and flexible logistics — particularly in the automotive sector.
Type 5 long truck
ELFLEIN uses a specially designed Type 5 Long truck — the so-called “rasender Frankenwälder”. Compared to others, it has a significantly higher payload: up to 24 tons instead of 18 tons — ideal for heavier goods while maintaining efficiency.
Refrigerated semitrailer
ELFLEIN uses refrigerated trailers for the safe and temperature-controlled transport of perishable goods. In this way, quality and freshness are maintained. Partitions can easily be installed — even afterwards. Dimensions in m: 13.30 x 2.45 x 2.65
Jumbo articulated hoist
Elflein relies on Jumbo vehicles with an internal load length of 7.7 m as standard — and also offers tailor-made solutions for special transport requirements.

Refrigerated trailer truck
Elflein uses refrigerated unit hoists for temperature-controlled transports, benefiting from their high maneuverability. The vehicles are individually adapted to customer requirements.

Eurotrailer
Elflein uses Eurotrailer with extended loading capacity, which offer greater loading volume and enable a more efficient transport with reduced CO₂ emissions.

Euroschwanenhals
It combines the advantages of a classic gooseneck trailer with a lowering function and a Eurotrailer loading area of 14.9 loading meters (instead of 13.6 loading meters). Dimensions in m: 14.9 x 2.48 x 3.2
