Our e-truck fleet is growing!
We are pleased to take another important step towards sustainable logistics. From now on, we will be using the all-electric MAN eTGX as part of our transport operations for the DRÄXLMAIER Group. The eTGX will transport batteries for the Porsche Macan Electric between the Dräxlmaier plant and the Porsche plant in Leipzig — completely emission-free.
The 4.5 kilometers route is operated at frequent intervals, with the eTGX transporting an average load of 15.5 tons per trip. With an output of 450 hp (330 kW) and a battery capacity of 534 kWh, the eTGX offers a pioneering solution for zero-emission heavy-duty transport. Particulary innovative is the digital driver's workplace, which was specifically developed for use in electric trucks.
A unique feature of this vehicle is its low fifth-wheel height, which makes it possible to tow trailers with an interior height of three meters, thereby increasing transport volume. This makes the MAN eTGX a pioneer in heavy-duty electric logistics.
With this collaboration, we are sending a strong signal for the future of green mobility and look forward to continuing to play a leading role in the sustainable transportation industry.
