Silver-Auszeichnung bestätigt den konsequenten Ausbau von Infrastruktur, E-LKW-Einsatz und Energiesystemen

Die Elektrifizierung im Schwerlastverkehr hat einen entscheidenden Wendepunkt erreicht. Das zeigt der aktuelle P3 EnergyExcellence Report 2025, die umfassendste Markterhebung zur Flottenelektrifizierung im deutschsprachigen Raum.

Elflein wurde in diesem Rahmen mit dem Silver Badge ausgezeichnet und zählt damit zu den Unternehmen, die die Transformation aktiv vorantreiben.

Elflein wurde mit dem VerkehrsRundschau Innovation Award 2026 in der Kategorie Umweltschutz ausgezeichnet. Die Preisverleihung fand im Rahmen der VerkehrsRundschau-Gala in München statt, die in diesem Jahr anlässlich des 80. Jubiläums der VerkehrsRundschau ausgerichtet wurde.

Mit dem Bau unserer neuen Elflein Zero Emission Logistics Unit setzen wir in der Hafenstraße in Bamberg ein starkes Zeichen für nachhaltige Logistik. Auf einer bestehenden Gewerbefläche entsteht eine zukunftsgerichtete Logistikhalle, die vollständig ohne fossile Energieträger betrieben wird. Die Entwicklung als Brownfield-Projekt schont wertvolle Flächen und nutzt bestehende Infrastruktur sinnvoll weiter.

In the latest news of the Deutsche Verkehrs-Zeitung (DVZ), Rüdiger Elflein and Stefanie Kotschenreuther talk about key topics for the future — from strategic orientation to clear goals in terms of sustainability.

Sustainability as an entrepreneurial core

A central topic: is the integration of sustainable logistics solutions into all areas of the company. Elflein focused on resource-saving drive technologies early on. There are over 80 LNG trucks and 11 e-trucks in use today — and the trend is rising. In addition, there is the expansion of our own charging infrastructure and the consistent use of bio-LNG, HVO diesel and photovoltaic systems at logistics locations.

The long-term goal is clearly defined: All transport should be emission-free by 2037 at the latest. The warehouse locations should even achieve this goal earlier.

Responsibility that goes beyond day-to-day business

In an interview, Rüdiger Elflein underlines the corporate responsibility associated with climate change — and clarifies: “We must act today in order to continue to be economically and socially successful tomorrow. ”
